Overview
School Trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon
School Trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of our most famous playwright, William Shakespeare and a day spent exploring Shakespeare’s Houses combined with a workshop will enlighten and inform your pupils as well as teaching them about our most famous bard.
Rich in history, this pretty town has stunning architecture and a walk around the streets with the award-winning Stratford Walking Tours will enthral you and your group. They also offer ghost walks which is a great evening activity to keep your students entertained throughout the day.
Alternatively, a visit to watch a play at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre will compliment your visit to Shakespeare’s Houses as they tailor their programme to what is relevant to the national curriculum.
Every educational visit needs to include some downtime and fun and a trip on the river or a visit to Stratford Butterfly House are both enjoyable and a relaxing way to unwind. Finally a trip enroute (depending where your school is based) to the magnificent Warwick Castle or Cadbury World near Birmingham, is a delicious and interesting way to finish off your trip.
