There is plenty to inspire your students from exploring the history of this country, learning its language and visiting some of the finest attractions in the British Isles. And don’t forget its natural beauty from the majestic Snowdonia Mountains and the surrounding peaks to miles and miles of sandy beaches, we know that you will have a brilliant trip.
North Wales has so much to offer including rugged mountains, beautiful countryside and many historical sites. This trip to combines history, geography and outward bound activities, but it’s also an ideal destination for most subjects.

Itinerary
Day 1
Depart School and head to Conwy for a tour of the Castle and a walk along the estuary where you can visit the smallest house in Wales!
In the evening arrive at your accommodation which has stunning views over the coast. After taking time to unpack, enjoy a delicious home cooked dinner and unwind.
Day 2
Set off early to Mount Snowdon where we embark on the Snowdon Mountain Railway for a trip to the summit. For the more adventerous they can descent by foot if the weather is good and for those less so we return by train after lunch.
In the afternoon we visit one of the largest hydro-electric dams in the UK which is built deep inside a mountain and on returning to the surface we have a range of activities nearby to choose from including a high wire course – not for the fainthearted! A fun afternoon learning how to abseil and climb amongst the trees.
After dinner, there is time to walk around the nearby town.
Day 3
Activity Day spent at one of the fabulous activity centres in the area with a wide choice of activities to suit all ages and abilities including mountain trekking, rock climbing, abseiling and gorge scrambling.
After a fabulous day, return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4
In the morning, travel to a slate cavern for an underground guided tour – an awe-inspiring experience. In the evening we enjoy a farewell barbecque and campfire.
There are lots of alternative activities to visit if you would like something different. We are very happy to tailor the trip to suit your subject requirements.
Day 5 This morning we pack our belongings and head for home. Depending upon our route home we may stop off somewhere for a short break.
