Scottish Highlands

Scottish Highlands

Take a school trip to the Highlands to take in the breath-taking scenery and it’s perfect for studying geography, geology and history or simply for an activity break or reward trip. We have put together an itinerary giving a mixture of history, geography and activities to give you some idea of what’s available but whatever ever you decide there is something for everyone in this part of Scotland.

Your accommodation will be at the Loch Ness Inn & Bunkhouse which is nestled in the Highland village of Drumnadrochit near the legendary Loch Ness…

All the rooms look out onto the River Coiltie and the rolling hills beyond. The Bunkhouse is located next to the courtyard, a short walk from our restaurant and bar. The rooms accommodate groups of up to six persons, there are also smaller rooms which can be booked as twin and triple room. Each room has a separate shower room and WC.
