Day 1

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: National Museum of Scotland

11:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Artistic Picnic at Princes Street Gardens
After a morning of exploration, enjoy an artistic picnic in the picturesque Princes Street Gardens, located in the heart of Edinburgh. Encourage students to sketch the stunning views of Edinburgh Castle and the Scott Monument, adding their artistic touch to the scenery.

1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Lunch
Stop for a packed lunch prepared for you by your accommodation. 

2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Scottish National Gallery
Delve into the world of classical art at the Scottish National Gallery. The gallery boasts an impressive collection of European paintings, including works by Van Gogh and Rembrandt. Students can participate in guided tours that unravel the secrets behind these timeless masterpieces.

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Evening Meal

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Evening Activity – Ghost Tour
After a satisfying meal at a local restaurant, take your students and a frightfully entertaining ghost tour. You can choose between a number of ghost tour companies such as Mercat Tours or City of Edinburgh Tours. These tours combine history and storytelling, making for an interesting and slightly spooky experience.

Day 2

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Breakfast

9:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Museum of Edinburgh
Explore the Museum of Edinburgh, housed in a historic 16th-century building. Dive into Edinburgh’s design heritage, from intricately crafted silverware to the evolution of fashion. Encourage students to sketch historical artifacts, drawing inspiration from centuries of Scottish craftsmanship.

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Creative Gardens at Royal Botanic Garden

Either tuck into a packed lunch prepared for you by your accommodation or take your students to a local restaurant before boarding the coach and departing for home.
