Group Visits to Spinnaker Tower

Welcome to the iconic Spinnaker Tower, where you and your group will experience breathtaking views and unforgettable moments. Get your pupils out of the classroom and in to the clouds to get a new perspective on learning – 100 metres up in the air!  Your group ticket includes the following:

Animated Film: Start your journey with an animated film that sets the tone for the awe-inspiring experience ahead.

High-Speed Lift Access: Hop on a high-speed lift that will whisk you up to the view deck at 100 metres above ground level. Here, you’ll encounter the breathtaking glass Sky Walk and i-VIEW interpretation touch screens.

View Deck at 110 metres: For the bravest adventurers in your group, there’s an opportunity to access the highest view deck at 110 metres. Please note that access to this deck is via stairs and is open to the elements, providing an immersive experience with the surrounding natural elements.

The Spinnaker Tower itself stands tall at an impressive 170 metres, offering unparalleled views that stretch up to 23 miles across Portsmouth, the Solent, the South Downs, and the Isle of Wight. The journey to the top begins with the high-speed lift, which takes a mere 30 seconds to reach the viewing decks. Once you step out onto the decks, you’ll be captivated by the magnificent waterfront city of Portsmouth showcased in all its glory.

The 350-degree panorama allows you to take in unmissable sights, each with its own unique story. To enrich your understanding of the view, interactive touch screen displays provide informative details about the rich history of the region.

For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the ‘Sky Walk’ awaits you at 100 metres above sea level. This thrilling experience will surely leave you with unforgettable memories.

After soaking in the remarkable sights, head over to the ‘Sky Garden,’ where you can breathe in the refreshing sea air while enjoying the panoramic view.

Educational groups can benefit from free adult places, depending on the age of the children/students. One free adult place for every six children under 11 and one for every ten children aged 12 to 17 (excluding Harbour Tours). Additionally, a free familiarization visit is available.
