Technicians: The David Sainsbury Gallery – For KS3+

Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination – For upper KS2+
This immersive exhibition will take groups on an adventure to explore visions of the future through the science of today. This exciting experience brings together fact and fiction and can support engagement in a number of subjects and topics, from gathering evidence and research in science to storytelling and creative writing for media studies and English literature. Uncover hidden gems including authentic objects from celebrated movies, TV, and books, as well as paintings, artworks, and photography.
3D documentary in IMAX – For KS2+
Experience a 3D documentary in our IMAX theatre, choose from Antarctica (U) where you’ll join Benedict Cumberbatch as he explores the mysterious and wild continent of Antarctica revealing how what happens there affects every single one of us; A Beautiful Planet (U) where you’ll experience life on the International Space Station as you journey into orbit around our home planet; or see Hubble (U) to find out what it’s like to work in space with astronauts on a critical mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.

The museum is open daily from 10.00–18.00 (last entry 17.15). Galleries start to close 30 minutes before the museum closes.
