Looking for an exciting and hands on farm experience? If you would like to give your class the opportunity to discover, explore and play then Godstone Farm’s education team is at hand! With more than 40 years of experience we are here to make your classes trip the best one yet!
What We Offer Visiting Schools
Godstone Farm‘s structured farm school visits offer excellent value for money and include entrance to the farm for the whole day including activities in the morning with our experienced farm team. There’s also a chance for free time in the afternoon to explore the rest of the farm and play areas. We offer one free adult per 5 children and provide plenty of parking for coaches and minibuses.
Why Choose Us for an Educational Visit
We offer a range of hands-on and educational opportunities. School groups are asked to choose up to 4 sessions from our programs which seek to support and develop your class’s knowledge and skills all delivered in a fun and interactive way. All our talks are created to support and complement the national curriculum and EYFS curriculum.
Subjects and Topics Covered
There are a range of talks for each key stage to choose from These cover a range of Science, Maths and English objectives.
Talks include Meet the Animals, Pig Talk, Duck Talk, Barn Talk, Farm Walk, paddock practice, mini beasts, pond dipping and many more! More details and the curriculum links can be found on the education pages of the Godstone Farm website.
Accreditation and Awards
We hold a CEVAS certification and a Learning Outside of the Classroom Quality badge.
Group Sizes Catered For
We can cater for up to six classes (6×40 children)
Itineraries, Resources, and Workshops
Schools are asked to arrive from 10am, they will be greeted at the coach by a member of the Education team and brought down to the farm for a health and safety talk and to deposit their bags/ lunches. Classes can choose up to 4 activities for their morning session which are roughly 20 each then are given a slot in a picnic barn for lunch. After lunch groups are free to explore the rest of the farm at their leisure including our massive outdoor play area.

Cost of trip is Off peak £10.50 / Peak £11.50 additional adults are charged at £9.75 and £10.75
Facilities
The Farm has a range of spaces ranging from our top animal barn to our animal interactions, reptile room, rabbit walk, our World of Dinosaur Roar woodland trail and our huge outdoor play area
School groups are not able to access the soft play.
Accessibility and Disabled Facilities
We have changing places, disable access toilet and dedicated accessible parking spaces.
As we are set in the beautiful Surrey Hills we do have some natural landscapes including hills and tree roots. Staff members are on hand if you need any assistance staff members are on hand.
