Woo At The Zoo With Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm This Half-term

Woo At The Zoo With Noah's Ark Zoo Farm This Half-term 4

Half term is creeping up on us now that we are in February
so over the next few weeks we will be highlighting some of the exciting, fun
and educational events that are happening around the country to inspire not only educational trips but ones that are also fun! With many of these events running over two or three weeks to be inclusive of all the different half-term weeks, the events can be experienced by schools, holiday clubs and families alike.

Our first highlight is Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm who are spending this half-term celebrating
their love for the planet and it’s amazing animals with their Woo at the Zoo
event. From the 14th February through to the 2nd March
the Zoo will be prepared to guide you around by following the heart trail. At
each giant heart you will learn about the stories of their amazing animal
couples, the adorable baby animals in their care and their work on animal conservation.

There are over 100 sorts of mammals, birds, reptiles,
amphibians and invertebrates at Noah’s Ark, including several species that are
classified as ‘endangered’ or ‘vulnerable’ on the IUCN Red list. However, find
out what Noah’s Ark is doing to help support these species as well as other
breeding programmes that the Zoo is a part of during informative talks during the
Woo at the Zoo event.

This half-term is a perfect time to meet their two lion cubs
Kojo and Tau, their baby Zebra, Zenah and a new flock of Ostrich chicks, as
well as plenty of other themed activities for children and families to get involved

You can find Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm just 6 miles outside of
Bristol, towards Clevedon, minutes from the M5 motorway Junction 19 or 20 and
you can pre-book your day tickets online!
