Sharks & Dinosaurs at Sea Life this February Half Term!

Written by: Elmtree Press

Exciting work is underway at Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary as they prepare the centre for a brand new jaw-dropping feature opening February 2016.

Shark Encounter will let guests come face to face with incredible creatures from the depths of the ocean, including a brand new species of shark – the bonnethead shark. Watch as the creatures of the ocean circle above their abandoned shipwreck and explore their new home.

This new feature will also include a specialist built Turtle Beach, designed to provide rescued Loggerhead turtle Antiopi which a more natural environment to lay her eggs and to further educate guests about the issues turtles face in the wild.

There is even more to see this February Half Term as Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary brings you the Ancient Oceans and the chance to become a Dinosaur Detective. With a fossil dig and skeleton hunt there is lots to do at this fun and educational event.
