Safestay has a 24 hour reception and entry to both the building and the rooms is by electronic insert key.  Your group will enjoy Safestay’s 3 comfortable and stylish communal areas comprising of a breakfast room, ground floor bar with pool table and games/computer room in the basement and there’s a heated courtyard too.  Wi-Fi is available across all communal areas.   There is also a free luggage store and laundry room.  You won’t realise you’re in a hostel until you see our state of the art bunk beds.

Safestay York features 4- to 12- bedded bunk dorms with en-suite facilities. For group leaders there are twin bunk bed and double private rooms with their own tea & coffee making facilities and 40-inch televisions.  The bunk beds at Safestay are fitted with a personal night-light and are all surrounded by privacy curtains, allowing everyone a comfortable night's sleep.  The rooms all feature under the bed lockers to secure luggage and personal items too.

Once you’re done sightseeing for the day the group will continue to learn about York’s rich history as they explore Safestay York.  Plaques outside the rooms tell tales of those who lived and died in the building, staying at Safestay York your group will feel like they are looking at the past from the inside out.
