The Park

Families and aviation enthusiasts looking for a summer day out should look no further than Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Park.
The Runway Visitor Park is located at the end of Manchester Airport’s two runways, giving visitors panoramic views of the hundreds of daily flights landing and taking off.
Home to five retired aircraft, the park gives visitors the chance to explore iconic aircraft such as the Concorde, sitting where royalty once sat and even getting a chance to play pilot as they learn more about these magnificent machines.
It’s not just about planes at the park, with a playground, picnic areas, aviation shop, and restaurant so there’s something to keep the whole family entertained.

Sundays are Fun Days

There’s fun for all the family at Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Park this summer with their ‘Sundays are Fun Days’ events making a comeback.
Every Sunday from 29th July to 2nd September will be ‘Sundays are Fun Days’ at the park, with free children’s rides, bouncy castles, and trampolines available all day. Whilst the kids are jumping around, parents can relax in the Concorde Restaurant, spend some time on the viewing platforms watching the take offs and landings of the airport’s hundreds of daily flights, or explore the aircraft on one of the park’s many tours.
Manchester Airport 80th Birthday Giveaways
In celebration of Manchester Airports’ 80th birthday year the RVP is having a summer of birthday giveaways and offers.  Each week visitors can pick up a birthday vouchers to redeem their gifts or offers including free ice cream, gift from the shop, reduced parking offers and kids eat free days.

Flight Academy

Back by popular demand, the park’s Flight Academy for ages 3-13 will be running throughout August. The academy gives kids the chance to climb on board a real aircraft and sit in the cockpit as they learn more about aviation and flying a plane. They’ll also get the chance to try their hand at being a pilot, cabin crew or air traffic controller in a role play session exploring the many careers at the airport.
Midweek Madness
The fun doesn’t stop there, with even more dates to get in the diary this August as the park hosts a special Midweek Madness on 1st August. The event will include the popular Concorde Short Tour for just £5pp, and all day parking for just £2.

Bank Holiday Bonanza

On the 27th August, the park will be holding a fun filled Bank Holiday Bonanza for the whole family to enjoy. Tickets will include a summer BBQ, a world-famous Concorde tour, and all day parking for £15pp.
