    Keeper Gareth stars on TV! New Forest Wildlife Park keeper Gareth Morrissy is in danger of becoming a celebrity heart throb after appearing in a BBC 1 TV programme this week. NFWP BBC film crew Sept 2014 Home away from home Gareth was seen advising a couple from Weston-Super-Mare about animal care and wildlife conservation in the BBC 1 daytime series, Home Away from Home, on Friday 17th October. The programme features couples from different parts of the country who take part in holiday home swaps and explore areas and activities that are new to them. In the episode, the home swap couple visit New Forest Wildlife Park and are shown talking to Gareth, feeding the deer and otters and learning about New Forest Wildlife Park?s conservation work. ?The filming took a while but was enjoyable,? said Gareth. ?It is nerve wracking at first but I?m getting used to being in the limelight ? it?s part of our job to educate people about how we look after our animals and about our contribution to wildlife rescue and conservation. ?I?m not sure what my wife would say about me being a celebrity though, or a heart throb. She might have a different opinion.? The episode features a home swap between people from Weston-Super- Mare and Bournemouth, and was filmed in September.?
