On Thursday 31st October 2013 Monkey World are offering FREE ENTRY for both adults and children who are in full Halloween fancy dress costume. There will be a competition for the best adult (16yrs +) and child (under 16s) costumes, judged by Animal Director Jeremy Keeling and Education Officer Mike Colbourne at 3pm with prizes for the winners, so the spookier the better! Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to take part in enrichment-making for the primates throughout the day from 10am to 2.30pm at the park.?We would be grateful if you could bring your own?plastic bottles and/or socks for this activity, they need to be washed and dried, and please don't forget the bottle tops! Each day at around 4pm the filled bottles and socks will be given to the chimpanzees, along with their evening meal, and you can see them get their tasty treats! As well as joining in the Halloween fun there is something for everyone to enjoy at Monkey World. Listen to the fascinating daily keepers talks, pre-book a guided tour, monkey around in the Great Ape Play Area and even adopt a primate yourself. Home to over 250 rescued and endangered primates, enjoy a fang-tastic day out for all the family this October half term! See web page for more details
