Get Wild in 2016 at Trentham Monkey Forest!

Written by: Elmtree Press

Trentham Monkey Forest re-opens on the 13th February for an exciting new year and is the perfect opportunity to combine fun with conservation and animal education as well as English, Science, Art and more.

Monkey Forest is unique to the UK and is home to 140 free-roaming Barbary macaques. Visitors are able to get an in-depth insight into the lives of these fascinating monkeys as they live just as they would in the wild, with no cages or bars. Watch the monkey antics as it unfolds before your eyes and see the monkeys walk straight past you – a trip to remember!

As well as offering educator led visits, Monkey Forest make it easy for you to plan a self-led trip too, with no need to book. The forest is ideally set up for self-led visits and we have a range of downloadable documents on our website to help make the day hassle free.
