Enjoy a summer choc-full of fun at Cadbury World
Families are invited to enjoy a chocolatey day out at Cadbury World over the summer holidays, with the attraction open for longer every day until 6th September.
Visitors can enjoy a brand new Freddo show that is sure to delight the whole family. Guests can get ready to rumble with DJ Freddo, as he puts on his very own Disco Dance Party in a new stage show held in the Cadbury World marquee, taking place every day throughout the summer holidays. With plenty of dancing and audience participation and with the help of DJ Freddo’s latest invention, families can join DJ Freddo as he teaches guests the moves to his favourite song.
The fun with the famous frog doesn’t stop there, as visitors can head to another marquee to meet either Freddo, Caramel Bunny, Mr Cadbury’s Parrot or Bertie Bassett for a socially distanced selfie every day from 11am – 4:30pm.
Elsewhere in the attraction, the self-guided Cadbury World tour in the fully air-conditioned building is packed full of fun and adventure for all the family with an assortment of chocolatey zones to explore. Families can head to the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone to experience the sensation of riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster and diving into a pot of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk in an unmissable cinematic experience.
Guests can also catch the talented chocolatiers in action and take a delicious taster for themselves in the Chocolate Making zone, before practicing their piping skills by drawing their name in chocolate in the Have A Go zone.
The outdoor African Adventure Play Area is back open and offers the perfect place for younger visitors to make the most of the sunshine, filled with tube slides, climbing zones and rope bridges. With a separate under 5s zone for mini-explorers to enjoy, it’s also the perfect place for adults to relax with a drink or snack from the outdoor refreshments takeaway kiosk.
With much more on offer, including exploring the history and heritage through the Aztec Jungle and Bull Street, before walking through time in Advertising Avenue to come face to face with everyone’s favourite drumming gorilla, Cadbury World is the perfect destination for a chocolate-themed day trip this summer.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, commented: “With a brand new live stage show, socially distanced meet and greets with our much-loved Cadbury characters, as well as plenty to discover in our assortment of chocolatey zones, a visit to Cadbury World this summer is sure to be a fun-filled experience for all the family whatever the weather!”
Cadbury World has implemented a number of additional hygiene and safety measures to make sure the attraction is a safe place to visit, including; reducing the numbers of guests admitted and opening for longer each day, social distancing stickers laid out on the floor to guide people around the attraction, plus hand sanitising stations throughout.
