Booking a residential trip for 2017-2018 at Hagg Farm

Planning  ahead? Looking for a residential trip experience in a stunning Peak District location?  Hagg Farm Outdoor Education Centre is now taking bookings for April 2017 - March 2018.  A comfortable base from which to experience the wild and wonderful great outdoors, Hagg Farm is run by Nottinghamshire County Council.  Primarily used by schools around Nottinghamshire, bookings from schools further afield are always welcome.

Explore and Challenge - Hagg Farm is a great venue for pupils from Year 5 to 13 wanting to explore the Peak District and experience challenging activities.  Instructor-led activities on site include climbing, zip wire, Jacobs ladder and off-site activities include gorge scrambling, rock hopping, caving and canoeing .  

Curriculum Support - Programmes can be designed to meet specific curriculum needs for example GCSE PE and A level fieldwork.  There are opportunities for staff to lead their own activities using their own resources or to use our support materials, as well as a range of problem-solving equipment and props that can be used to support team building games and challenges.

Quality and Safety – Hagg Farm is a well respected adventurous activities provider, licensed by the Adventure Activities Licencing Authority, and also holds
•    Gold Standard from the Association of Heads of Outdoor Education
•    Adventure Mark certificate
•    Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge

Easily Accessible – Situated just off the A57 ‘Snake Pass’, Hagg Farm is in a quiet and remote location but is still easily accessible providing an excellent base for a residential trip from which to explore the Peak District and visit many local attractions.  Sleeping up to 62 in two units of 44 and 18, these units may be booked individually or together to allow maximum flexibility.
