Minack Theatre
There’s music, mischief, and ghosts at the Minack this Christmas. Enjoy a seasonal concert on Sunday 12 December, performed by Pendeen Silver Band. Let actor David Mynne entrance you with his enthralling one-man performance of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol (It’s Dickens with added silliness!).

The Piskie in the Garden
29 & 31 Dec, 2 Jan at 11am
Younger children and families will be bewitched by storyteller John Brolly’s magical tale, The Piskie in the Garden. An old gardener is woken by mysterious noises from the potting shed. It can only mean one thing, he has a piskie in the garden. A mix of puppets, music and storytelling, this magical, mischievous tale is perfect for families.

The colourful celebration of children’s book illustration will appeal to children of all ages, from pre-schoolers to young adults. Visitors will meet a motley crew of characters, from the Gruffalo to the Iron Man, fearsome dragons to the Little Ogre, and even monsters in underpants! They will also come face-to-face with several larger-than-life 3D exhibits.

STRATFORD UPON AVON
Shakespeare’s School Room
One of the most atmospheric buildings in Stratford-upon-Avon, is being transformed this Christmas. Santa at the Schoolroom is an enchanting family experience that will be taking place for the first time at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall.
Visitors will take a journey through the 600-year-old building, meeting a host of Christmas characters along the way including Santa Claus, settled by the fireplace in the Master’s Chamber.
A festive quiz with fun-loving Puck, a Christmas story with Thursday the Elf, crafts and games in the Georgian Schoolroom and a ‘What the Dickens?’ encounter in Shakespeare’s Schoolroom with Charles Dickens.
The experience lasts 1-11/2 hours. Participants will receive a small gift from Santa.
