Ingleton Hostel is situated 0n the western side of the Yorkshire Dales, an area is rich in natural features making it an excellent location for geology and geography field trips.
Dominated by Ingleborough, the best known of Yorkshire’s Three Peaks, the area is known for its walking routes and waterfall trail. There is plenty to offer for walkers, climbers, mountain bikers and cavers and it makes a great base for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. White Scar Caves, Clapham Caves and the famous Gaping Gill a 98 metre (322 foot deep pothole) are all only a short distance away. Ideally located to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay coastline this is an ideal base for exploring some of the North of England’s most iconic locations..
There’s an open-air swimming pool (summer only) and park next door. Free parking on site.
We can recommend and do work closely with a number of local outdoor activity providers should any group wish to add abseiling, climbing, caving, kayaking etc. on to your activity programme.
