The first thing that strikes you on a school trip to Liverpool are the wide boulevards and the grand and magnificent buildings of this amazing city. Recognised by UNESCO, in 2004 with six areas throughout the city centre being designated as a World Heritage Site, it really is worth spending a few days here to fully appreciate what this city has to offer and to discover the best places to visit.

Depart school and drive to Liverpool. Arrive at your accommodation and after checking in we take a walking tour around the city before an evening meal at a local restaurant.
This morning we visit a new visitor attraction The British-Music-Experience that tells the story of music for a guided tour and workshop.
In the afternoon we visit The Beatles-Story at Albert Dock to learn about this iconic group. After, time to relax and an early evening meal, we board the magical mystery bus for a tour around the city.
This morning take a trip across the famous River Mersey with Mersey-Ferries. Their latest ferry, Snowdrop is a dazzling ship, designed by Sir Peter Blake the artist who created The Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Album Cover. You will be able to see the famous landmarks of Liverpool; including the Three Graces the Royal Liverpool Building; the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building all built at the beginning of the 20th century when the city was a famous transmigration port for people from all over Northern Europe heading for a new life in America. Enjoy the commentary about the history of Liverpool and how the ferries were used in World War 1 and the history of dazzle camouflage.
Afterwards, continue your journey with a visit to the stars and space at their sister attraction Spaceport www.spaceport.org.uk and then look down on Liverpool (not quite from space) from the St John’s Beacon Viewing Tower before ending your trip with a trip to the St Johns Shopping Centre below?
After time back at your accommodation we head out to a local restaurant where we make our own pizzas for dinner!
In the morning check out of the accommodation and head to Anfield football stadium to experience the museum and stadium tour at the home of Liverpool FC. After lunch, either take an iconic mini cruise on Mersey ferries or visit the British Music Experience before starting the journey home.
