Performing Arts Week will enable pupils to enjoy a percussion session led by professional drummers, where their class will be transformed into a high energy and high volume performance group. Using a variety of car-parts and auto accessories, pupils will be led through the basics of timing and technique, and how to use these skills to put rhythms together. Pupils will then take part in a Trick Hula Hooping session, a fun skill which boosts confidence while promoting exercise, and the day will end with a special automotive-themed song and movement arrangement made especially for the British Motor Museum!

Live & Dangerous is specially designed for pupils transitioning to Secondary School who will be facing new journeys and using different forms of transport for the first time as they travel to their new school in September. This whole day event will help pupils develop important personal road safety skills and teach them how to deal with emergency situations.

The cost is £12.50 per pupil and the day runs from 10am to 2.30pm. There is a limit of 30 pupils per workshop. The Museum’s travel support fund is also available for schools to assist them with the cost of coach transport.
