You could follow the pitter-patter of tiny webbed feet around the reserve watching goslings and ducklings grow. Why not take our guided learning session ‘what are the differences between birds?’ to discover the adaptations that will help them survive.
Pond dipping is now open again, so dip in to the fascinating underwater world of many mini-beasts through our ‘what lives in a pond?’ session. Alternatively choose ‘what lives in this habitat?’ which teams pond dipping with a land mini-beast hunt so that you can draw comparisons between habitats and creatures adaptations
Summer is also a fabulous time to take a ride on our electric boats. Glide quietly through different wetland habitats and keep a close eye out for water voles. We’ve helped these elusive mammals come back from the brink of extinction and make the Arundel Wetland Centre their home
Whether you are looking for hands on exploratory investigation, scientific based enquiry led activities or just a fun introduction to the natural world, our team of educators are flexible and can tailor each session to the needs of your group.
The summer term is filling up fast so book early to avoid disappointment at wwt.org.uk/learn/learn-at-arundel
