Visit Marwell Zoo and discover a range of exotic and endangered species across 140 acres of beautiful parkland. This summer, spend time with their playful primates at ‘Lemur Loop’, a new immersive walkthrough exhibit. Explore the environment of four different types of lemur who will be joined in their home by a new species for Marwell - green peafowl. What’s more, the zoo’s knowledgeable staff will be on hand to help guests learn all about these wonderful animals.

Don’t miss The Great Brick Safari: An Interactive Experience with LEGO® Bricks EXCLUSIVE to Marwell Zoo! From 1 August to 1 October, over 2 million LEGO bricks will be used to make over 80 stunning sculptures representing 25 different species. Among them will be a 1.5 tonne elephant, a life size Bengal tiger and a trio of Giant panda cubs. Other sculptures will be inspired by their own diverse collection of animals, including a red ruffed lemur, a warthog and a mob of meerkats. Follow the trail with a free spotter’s guide and also take part in hands on building activities in the Great Brick Building Zone. Create your own LEGO penguin to leave in the ‘March of the penguins’ display and contribute to a giant LEGO snake by building segments to join on to its body in the ‘Python Marathon’.

As well as this, their educational workshops have now been released for the 2017-2018 academic year! From EYFS up to Post 16, they have SEN workshops available too. Booking one of their curriculum linked educational workshops will guarantee that you get the most from your visit to Marwell Zoo.

Plus, booking is now open for autumn 2017 Post 14 GCSE and A-level conferences. These half day conferences give students a great opportunity to learn more about what Marwell Wildlife do in terms of conservation and behaviour monitoring.
