Autumn at the Ark!
Bristol

Autumn is a great time to see nature; the changing colours and altering scenes are the perfect backdrop to see the host of impressive animals at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol, including our African elephants, white rhinos, Big Cats and now Andean bears. What better way to start a school wildlife project than by coming to visit some of nature’s giants?

We’ve been delighted this season to welcome Tupa and Sonco our two characterful Spectacled Bears to our ever-growing park. A paradise for our South American duo, Andean Adventure is one of the largest habitat for these bears in the UK and features a specially landscaped playground with trees to climb, a waterfall and running stream.

Here at Noah’s Ark we offer a fun visit all day, in all weather – if it’s rainy or on the chilly side, enjoy our large warm play barns now with full heating for all indoor play and eating areas. Enjoy 12 exciting adventure play areas, an indoor Animal Village and covered Animal Show Pens.

We also offer great value, interactive workshops on topics including conservation, habitats and adaptions and African Animals. All of our workshops are rooted in the National Curriculum and have been approved by The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. So you can rest assured that your students will have an enjoyable and educationally valuable time in the Noah’s Ark classroom.

Looking for an end of term treat for your class? Why not bring them to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm to take part in a traditional Christmas Nativity? No need to plan, build a set or rehearse, our Education Team will do it all for you. The Nativities feature real animals and a storyteller to guide students through the Christmas story. The show takes place in a heated barn and all costumes will be provided - just bring a cast list, sit back and enjoy the performance!

For a fantastic day out with your class, walk beside nature’s giants at Noah’s Ark this season!
