May 12, 2025 10:00 am to December 19, 2025 5:00 pm
Common Transfer Days, also known as ‘transition days’, provide primary school pupils with the opportunity to experience life at high school. At Xplore!, we offer engaging Common Transfer Workshops where students can take part in trial science lessons and get a taste of secondary school learning.
Who are Xplore!?
Xplore! Science Discovery Centre is the home of science based in Wrexham, North Wales. As a subsidiary company to Wrexham University, we exist to bring STEAM education to all. Previously known as Techniquest, Xplore! is known for enriching the lives of over 70,000 visitors every year.
How do common transfer days work?
Students can enjoy a school trip to our centre, where they’ll take part in a Common Transfer Workshop and explore over 85 interactive STEAM exhibits. Alternatively, our talented science communicators can visit your school to deliver the workshop on-site.
