Super School Trips for Spring!

Written by: Elmtree Press

There's plenty going on in the Education Department at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm this term. We have been busy looking after the lovely animals in our education petting zoo, delivering educational workshops to lots of different schools and re-writing our existing signs around the zoo farm.

It may be cold outside but Noah’s Ark offers a range of indoor, as well as outdoor, activities. You won’t be stuck for things to do with our many fantastic indoor heated zones! Noah’s Ark offers incredible up-close experiences with amazing animals, including seeing the lions and tigers being fed during the ‘Big Cat Talk’, meeting our giraffe family at the daily encounter and visiting our elephants in Europe’s largest elephant enclosure, Elephant Eden.

Enjoy 15 exciting adventure play areas, an indoor Animal Village and covered Animal Show Pens. Free daily events include the popular interactive ‘Animal Show’ with a chance to bottle-feed the lambs. You can purchase animal food from our shop to hand feed our goats, camels, deer, llamas, sheep and the pigs and how about a tractor ride across the farm with views to Wales? A fun and bumpy ride for all!

If you are looking for a fun and educational school trip, then look no further. As well as the amazing animals and fantastic facilities on offer for schools at Noah's Ark, we also offer workshops that are securely rooted in the National Curriculum.

We offer a range of themed workshops on topics including Conservation, African Animals and Habitats and Adaptations. The workshops offer students the opportunity to learn new information about the fascinating world of wildlife, as well as giving students a chance to handle some of our friendly education animals.

*Coming soon for 2016* We will be welcoming two Andean (or Spectacled) Bears to Noah’s Ark this Spring! The two brothers are joining us from Frankfurt Zoo in Germany to settle into our brand new bear facility, ‘Andean Adventure’. The 2 acre enclosure will include climbing frames, a stream, a pool and caves for the bears to enjoy, as well as a large, state-of-the-art indoor facility. Stay tuned for updates on their arrival.
