Written by: Elmtree Press

Bring your school trip to Flamingo Land this spring or summer to discover what we have to offer. Climb aboard thrilling rides in the theme park or discover the amazing animals living within our zoo! With seven unique themed areas, you’ll have lots to explore during your day.

Journey through The Lost Kingdom’s African plains, the clear blue skies of Swoosh! and the wet and wacky world of Splosh! and we’re sure you’ll discover that our theme park has something for all ages to enjoy. If you’re looking for adrenaline-fuelled thrills, then eight extreme rides are waiting just for you!

There are also over a dozen family attractions for those who enjoy slightly more gentle rides. Excitement and adventure for our youngest guests are also assured by a fantastic collection of junior coasters, carousels, and fun rides, plus indoor soft play and outdoor play areas too!

A captivating programme of regular free shows, such as the sea lion show, bird show, and bongo warriors show add even more to fit into your day!

Make sure you have allowed enough time to explore around 140 species of animal within our zoo too! We have lions and tigers (but not bears!), penguins and flamingos, giraffes and hippos plus much more! Our newest residents Samira and Olmoti, our mother and 1-year-old black rhino, have settled in well to their new home. Plus, why not see how our two 1-year-old giraffes have grown over the last year. There might even be a few new arrivals this year too!

Then don’t forget to enhance your school trip by booking an educational session with our education team. A variety of curriculum-linked activities are on offer for all ages, they are sure to enthuse and boost your students’ learning within your current topic!
