Cohort is just 5 minutes from train/bus stations with car and coach parking nearby; it's situated in the centre of St Ives and less than a minute's walk to over 50 eateries and galleries.
Housed in a Grade II listed building which was formerly a Wesleyan Chapel, Cohort sleeps up to 60 students / teachers in dorms and private rooms. Having been recently renovated all facilities are brand new with custom built beds in all the rooms. Each bed has its own light, curtains, USB port, plug socket and lockable storage; there is superfast WiFi throughout the building with USB ports and plug sockets throughout the communal areas.
Other facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, private courtyard for dining and discussion, a dining room, a large, communal lounge, TV / Movie Room and secure storage for bikes, boards and bags.
As well as offering a free planning trip for teachers Cohort staff will be delighted to liaise with you prior to your school trip to ensure that you have everything you need. Cohort works with all the local institutions so can organise group visits on your behalf. The manager can book surf lessons, liaise with the Tate, book workshops and send you a list of great vantage points for painting or photography groups.
The hostel can provide breakfast and packed lunches as well as send you a list of great evening meal options.
Cohort reception is open 9am – 10pm with 24hr security and CCTV. All our rooms are accessed via a secure key card system and we meet all safety regulations.
