Cadbury World is choc-full of discovery!

Written by: Elmtree Press

With 25 years' experience and more than 2,000 school trips attending each year, Cadbury World offers a unique experience that gives a fascinating insight into the rich heritage of the nation's favourite chocolate brand.

Throughout the self-guided tour, a variety of zones showcase Cadbury history, chocolate making, and now include the 4D Chocolate Adventure cinema experience. Your pupils can explore over 100 years of innovative advertising and packaging design in Advertising Avenue, and discover the ancient origins of the cocoa bean in the Aztec Jungle. Learn the history behind Bournville village and the Victorian Cadbury brothers, and see traditional chocolate making by our talented chocolatiers. Then enjoy an adventurous journey in our 4D cinema experience, complete with motion seats!

To complement your school trip, Cadbury World offers a range of one-hour educational talks which are linked to the curriculum for key stages 1 to 5.  Primary school groups can choose from 8 topics including The Aztecs, The Maya, Design & Technology and ‘Bean to Bar’, ideal for schools covering the IPC chocolate topic. New for 2016 is Chocolate Through the Ages, revealing how cocoa originated from ancient civilisations to Cadbury heritage.

Secondary school groups can choose from 10 topics developed specially for Key Stages 3 to 5, including Business Studies, Geography, ICT, Leisure & Tourism, Geography, Science, and Design & Technology.

Talks feature engaging examples and video content, and free downloadable resources and activities are available on the Cadbury World website.

Cadbury World offers a host of benefits and discounts for groups, including free teacher preview visit and coach parking.
