The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek
At the Cornish Seal Sanctuary we want to make sure your school trip is both educational and fun! During your visit your pupils will get up close and personal with amazing creatures as we believe the more they see and discover the more they learn!
Your class will come face to face with our adorable rescued seal residents and learn all about why they came to live at the Sanctuary. Your class will be able to follow the journey of rehabilitating Seals in Cornwall’s Only Seal Rescue Centre & Hospital open to visitors.
You are free to attend our regular talk and feeding demonstrations, this includes presentations of our Seals, Sea Lions, Otters and Penguins.
We offer our school groups an exclusive experience like no other in Cornwall. Learn all about our rescued grey seal pups and why we rescue up to 60 seal pups every year Hear our dramatic pup rescue stories and learn about what to do if you see a seal pup in the wild.
Every group will receive a fantastic tour of our hospital and talk with a member of the team to learn all there is to know about seal rescue and rehabilitation.
