One of Britain’s leading honey farms, Quince Honey Farm in South Molton, Devon is a family run business which was first established in 1949. Now in its third generation and with over 1000 hives, they are always refining new beekeeping techniques and growing in knowledge.
A working honey farm and tourist attraction, Quince offers a great day out for all ages. Activities to enjoy include a guided tour of the Honey Factory followed by honey tasting, a Beekeeping Demo with the chance to hold a frame of bees in complete safety, Be a Beekeeper taster session, a Tractor Tour of their apiary fields, and the beautiful pollinator-friendly Nectar Gardens to explore.
Additional workshops available for educational visits include extracting and pouring your own jar of honey, rolling your own beeswax candle, planting seeds for bees or making bug hotels.
Added to that is the large indoor and outdoor play area, The Nectary Restaurant serving up tasty treats and the onsite shop selling their range of delicious honey, honey products and gifts.
