Learn with Bristol Museums

Bristol Museums’ Learning programme is delivered across five historic sites: Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, M Shed, Blaise Castle House Museum, The Red Lodge Museum and The Georgian House Museum.

At Bristol Museum & Art Gallery workshops include: Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greeks, Rocks & Soils, Portraits, Landscapes and Dinosaurs!

M Shed workshops cover Bristol’s local history: Chocolate, Ships and Sailors, World War Two, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Anglos-Saxons, Romans in Bristol, Significant Bristol People and Bristol through Time.

At Bristol’s historic houses workshops come alive with Tudor Portraits at the Red Lodge Museum and a literacy adventure at the Georgian House Museum. Visit Blaise Museum to learn more about Toys, the changing Seasons, a Victorian Christmas and much more!

Children learn through interactive experiences. Sessions involve object handling, costumed role-play, meet the expert opportunities and special gallery activities tailored to age and curriculum needs.
