Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm

Whatever the time of year or weather, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm offers the perfect location for your educational visit to watch nature at its best. We have a host of impressive animals, including bears, elephants, giant tortoises, lions and rhinos.

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm’s highly qualified and knowledgeable Education Team are dedicated to ensuring you get the most out of your visit. Whether you’re interested in our curriculum linked workshops or prefer to lead your own self-guided visit, we have all the information you need to plan a trip to remember.

Our ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ accredited Education Programme offers an extensive variety of teaching sessions and learning resources to help communicate the national curriculum in a fun, stimulating environment. Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm offer a range of workshops for pupils of all ages and abilities, from EYFS to degree level. All our workshops provide hands-on learning opportunities, games, activities and the chance to meet real-life animals up close! Sessions can be linked to the curriculum, or specific syllabi as required.

Free Keepers Talks

Make sure you catch one of our fantastic keeper talks. Noah’s Ark offers incredible up-close experiences with amazing animals. Find out more about our elephants and watch in awe as they show off their target training skills or watch our birds circle the sky and fly from post to post in the ‘Birds of Prey Display’ – there is something for everyone!

Free Self-guided Resources

We have a variety of FREE self-led trail resources that enable you and your class to explore the zoo and learn some fun facts about the animals at your own pace.

Play and More!

Enjoy indoor and outdoor adventure play areas, the Great British Wildlife Maze, an indoor Animal Village and the Farm Barn. You can purchase animal and bird food from our gift shop to hand feed some of our animals, such as chickens, geese, ducks, goats and llamas.

Outreach Programme

If you can’t make it to us, why not bring the curriculum alive in the comfort of your own school, with hands on interactive workshops delivered by our Education Team? Any session can be tailored to fit in with any curriculum, or we can create a session just for you based on your needs and requirements.

Virtual Workshops

Another option if you can’t make it to the zoo, why not book a virtual workshop? The team offer online workshops (via Zoom or Microsoft Teams). Entertaining, interactive and educational sessions involving videos of our zoo animals and real-life animals on camera.

For an exciting and educational day out, go wild at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm this year! We are just 6 miles from Bristol in the heart of the Somerset countryside. Minutes from M5 Junction 19 or 20.
