With an all new Learning offer for September 2021, we have inspiring educational programmes from early years right up to Key stage 4 and beyond. Inspire your class with an exciting interactive learning package about Light, Sound, Space, Maths and Climate change and treat yourself to the history of computer technology by playing the video games in our Games Lounge.
You’ll love our amazing interactive exhibits, free live shows and our high-impact interactive workshops. You’ll feel the force of our sun, the power of a rocket or the science behind global warming with activities for your whole class.
Transport students to new worlds with our 3D IMAX films and extend their learning with our free downloadable resources. Whatever you’re looking for in your next visit, we have everything you need to inspire your students and leave them with unforgettable memories of your visit.
WONDERLAB: Think like a scientist and feed your curiosity in our Wonderlab. Touch, try and photograph your experience as you navigate your way through more than 20 mind-bending exhibits.
Hear your voice echo through a 15m-long tube, get lost in mirrors, make art using light, and travel through a laser tunnel.
FREE LIVE SCIENCE SHOWS: Our live shows are packed with experiments and extraordinary experiences to take you on a journey, changing how you see the world around you.
Have fun finding the answers as you explore your chosen topic and discover the building blocks of the technology and media that surround us every day.
WORKSHOPS: at only £2 per head, these workshops will take you a little deeper on your journey in science, and allow your group to really explore your theme. With curriculum links, clear learning outcomes and everything taken care of, your class will take their learning to the next level.
IMAX: There’s cinema, then there’s IMAX. Seeing a film on our 60ft-tall screen is a truly immersive experience for any group. Watch our spectacular documentaries as the perfect add-on to your museum visit.
They’re linked to the theme of your day whether that’s a Space, sound or climate change and will really widen your horizons and inspire your learning.
