The New Forest Wildlife Park is home to a fascinating array of mammals and birds. We aim to help visitors understand and respect the planet we share with them.
Children can let off steam in the Go Wild adventure playgrounds and watch the giant otters frolic in their pool with bouncing balls, fish-filled iced lollies and other enrichment toys to keep them cool and entertained.
You can meet the rescued fallow, roe and sika deer in the deer encounter enclosure and follow the nature trails to find more amazing animals, including red deer, Scottish wildcats, Asian short-clawed and Eurasian otters, lynx, foxes, pine martens, polecats, badgers, owls, mouflon, harvest mice and ferrets.
Don’t miss the wild boar, wolves, wallabies and European bison - all in 25 acres of lovely natural woodland. The park’s friendly and knowledgeable keepers are on hand to answer all your questions, with feeding sessions and keeper talks on particular species available at set times throughout the holidays.
Animal encounter sessions also allow you to get up close to small mammals and birds such as Mr Hedges the hedgehog, Jester the ferret or Hobbit the barn owl.
You can take advantage of discounts on the entry price by taking the open-top New Forest Tour Bus to New Forest Wildlife Park. The red route allows you to travel car free and will drop you right at the entrance to the park.
For special occasions, book a wildlife birthday party or a personalised, one-to-one Keeper Experience, for that unforgettable treat of a lifetime.
Details and times for events are posted at the entrance to the park or on the website.
New Forest Wildlife Park is committed to the conservation and rescue of wildlife species such as Eurasian otters and is involved in international captive breeding programmes for endangered species, such as the giant otter.
