Whether you want to expand your learning outdoors and experience nature through immersive, hands-on learning, or reward your pupils for their hard work, we have packages to suit all needs!

Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park

Educational Trip – Includes access to the Discovery Woods and Tree Top Trail. Educational visits are available any day of the year, including days where the main park is closed.

Rewards Trip – Includes access to the Full Lightwater Valley Adventure Park and Tree Top Trail.

Our educational package provides students with a full day of adventures, learning and discovery, in a safe and secure environment.

Included within the educational package are age-appropriate activity packs which incorporate curriculum linked outdoor learning.

Children thrive outdoors and there is so much to see, do and learning in the brand-new Discovery Woods. The woodland walk is filled with interactive hands-on learning.

We encourage children to get messy and creative in our Mud Kitchen. Fish for creatures big and small whilst Pond Dipping in our Swan Lake, all the while keeping your eyes peeled whilst looking for woodland animals and birds.

Lightwater Valley have a purpose-built outdoor classroom, and the trail has educational signage through ensuring that the woods are full of excitement and discovery.

Age-appropriate activity packs that incorporate curriculum linked outdoor learning are available for Foundation, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Once you have explored the Discovery Woods, take your pupils, and enjoy bouncing adventures at our Tree Top Trail! The Tree Top Trail covers over 2000 square metres of beautiful woodland and is the biggest of its kind in the UK.

Crawl through tunnels, zip down slides, test your balance on walkways and jump for joy in the giant trampolines! Completely surrounded by high net walls, you can play in the trees without a need for a harness.

Reward your pupils by escaping to Lightwater Valley! With over 40+ rides and attractions to exhilarate the mini thrill seekers, step aboard the Savanah Express for a journey through the African Wilderness, twist and turn on the Ladybird Rollercoaster or plunge into Splash Falls on a rubber dingy.

For gentler thrills there’s endless funfair tradition to enjoy, including our carousel, Lightwater Express Train, and Vintage Car Rally. Enjoy all the favourites including the Eagles Claw, Flying Cutlass and Dodgems! Included within the Rewards package is full access to the Tree Top Trail.
