Each year, we welcome thousands of school children from across the Universe to Jodrell Bank.

A place full of mind-blowing stories of pioneering heritage and cutting-edge science, Jodrell Bank is, uniquely, both a World Heritage Site and a live scientific research facility – the ideal place to satisfy your students’ curiosity about the cosmos!

Our stunning new First Light Pavilion has recently opened, housing a new immersive Space Dome theatre and interactive exhibition all about the story of Jodrell Bank and its amazing science. Throughout your visit our skilled Engagement Team will be on hand across the site to support your class in the exhibitions, take you on a tour of the Universe in the Space Dome and share their scientific expertise and passion answering your pupils’ questions about all things ‘space’.

Be inspired by getting up close to the iconic Lovell Telescope, in action as it studies the Universe  – and find out the latest questions that we’re trying to answer.
