Environmental Education

Our education team offers a range of environmental education activities designed to tie in with national curriculum requirements at all levels. Teachers can choose from a selection of themed days developed to target specific curriculum areas or, with the help of our knowledgeable staff, can select from a wide range of activities to create a day tailored to individual requirements.

Outdoors Adventurous Activities

From our base at Ferry Meadows at Nene Park Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre, our team offers a safe and fun environment to encourage personal development and group cohesion through a wide range of land and water-based adventure activities. Our qualified staff will discuss your learning outcomes with you, and offer advice on selecting a range of activities to meet your learning requirements, curriculum links and the needs of your pupils.

Ferry Meadows at Nene Park Outdoors team can also visit your school and run various education and adventurous activities on site.

Residential Visits

With stunning lake views, our campsites are discreetly tucked away from the bustle of the rest of the Park. Facilities include a shelter, benches, campfire, a fixed barbeque stand, wash area and cold water tap. Access to the toilet and shower facilities at Nene Outdoors is available 24 hours a day. Choose from our Lakeview Bell Tent campsite or pitch your own tents on The Glade campsite.

Forest School

Our Forest School activities provide pupils of all ages regular opportunities for hands-on learning experiences in a woodland setting. We offer a range of experiences, from Forest School taster days to full length Forest School courses.
