Inspiring every generation to get outdoors and engage with nature is at the heart of our ethos which is why there’s something for everyone at our park; whether it be the fragrant flower gardens and acres of open space are open to all visitors, the WildRootz outdoor adventure play area or the Hootz House indoor play area. These areas can inspire a love of nature that children will take into adulthood. They can also play host to several field exercises: spot Oystercatcher birds in the Wader Scrape or explore the wonders of the Wetlands area, where you’ll find a flock of flamingos and see a sedge of cranes.

There’s also the option of going pond dipping in the Wetland Discovery Area, which is a simple and fun way for children to learn about aquatic habitats.
