Leicester Guildhall
The Leicester Guildhall is one of the best-preserved timber framed halls in the country, with the earliest part dating from c1390.
The Leicester Guildhall galleries chronicle medieval Leicester, the Mayor’s Parlour features late-medieval stained glass, and visitors can peer inside cells, where unsettling torture devices and a surprise guest lurk.
