Our Learning Team of world-class lecturers and teachers run a huge range of programmes for UK and international groups of all ages and abilities, offering memorable on-site Shakespeare workshops, hands-on sessions, talks and seminars. All are designed to support the national curriculum and bring Shakespeare and his works to life in practical, creative and fun ways.
We offer great ways to learn for groups of all ages from Key Stage 1 all the way to ‘A’ Level, all guaranteed to enrich your pupil’s learning.
Formats range from hands-on workshops where children can become history detectives to spending the day dressed as a Tudor at Mary Arden's Farm (childhood home of his mother). Play-building workshops, introductory talks, interactive talks and visits to Shakespeare's Family Homes - the range of sessions, activities and free downloadable resources is extensive.
Full day and half day workshops are available including a visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace. Free familiarisation visits for teachers and preferential admission prices with learning bookings.
