Beaudesert Park is in the Cannock Chase AONB in Staffordshire. With 124 acres of open parkland and woodland, Beaudesert is an ideal setting for both day trips and camps and residential visits. Our range of activities and flexible booking system means you can build a program to suit your needs.
Whether you are looking for somewhere to go for a day visit, or a residential experience, with 7 different style accommodation buildings and camping for 1000, Beaudesert has a variety of options for every group.
Our range of activities and flexible booking system means you can build a program to suit your needs, and are not tied into a set package. Our friendly and helpful staff are on hand to advise on the best activities for your groups age and abilities.
Our dedicated instructors are trained to deliver sessions in archery, abseiling, aerial runway, circus skills, climbing wall, crate stacking, indoor and outdoor rifle shooting, traverse wall and tree climbing. In the warmer months, typically April to October, we also offer sessions in coracling and raft building.
For older groups, we can offer team building days and survival camps, all designed to suit the needs of your school or group.
In addition to the instructed activities, we have a number of self-led activities, where all the equipment and information required is provided, and group leaders take charge. These include assault course, bivouacs, crazy golf, frisbee golf, geocaching, initiative exercises, low ropes, pedal go-karts, pioneering, treasure hunts and 4 different orienteering courses,. We also have a woodland workshop where various craft activities can be completed.
Schools are able to purchase a learning resource from the office, which contains teachers notes, outline lesson plans, activity ideas and information sheets to support learning on the woodland trail or in the classroom.
