York City Sightseeing welcomes back its guides for the summer season

York City Sightseeing

During the cold winter months our guides take a break and pursue their other interests, which tend to be historically based.  We have experts on York Minster, Richard the III, the Development of the Railways and even someone who helps to re-fight the Wars of the Roses (on the Yorkist side, of course!).

Now they are back on board our buses, refreshed and raring to go, entertaining the thousands of visitors who will take a tour with York CitySightseeing this summer.

Many of these founts of knowledge are brilliant with children.  On private tours they can slant their commentary towards any particular aspect of history being studied and make it lively and enthralling for young minds.  Private hires, with a guide, are available all year round.

We hope we can welcome your group aboard a York tour soon – history has never been so much fun.   Call 01904 655585 or visit for details.
