The World of James Herriot |
Did you hear the news? We have been working hard on developing new offers for yourself and your class. Now we are ready to introduce our new school workshops, outreach sessions, and holiday courses. Don’t miss out the fabulous opportunity of entertaining object handling and time travelling! Ask for more information today!
We have revised our programme for you to choose the perfect workshop for meeting your learning needs. All our sessions are closely linked to the National Curriculum and assist the outside the classroom learning.
Located in the wonderful market town Thirsk, North Yorkshire, our 1940s house and replica air raid shelter take the students back in time. Object handling supports these workshops and the experience of sounds and smells make the trip perfect. Apart from the history related workshops, we also offer art classes and creative writing courses. All our workshops are connected to the life and work of the world-famous vet and author, Alf Wight.
Topics Include:
