    Further Details
Throughout the day, we’ll be holding short interactive talks about the design of our banknotes and their sophisticated security features. Explore our banknote gallery and discover more about the notes and how they have evolved over the years.
Our experts will also be in the Museum to answer your questions about gold. You can even hold a genuine gold bar, which weighs an impressive 13 kilos. Continuing on this glistening theme, explore our Discover Gold display and take a #GoldVaultSelfie, which you can share on social media.
The fun doesn’t stop there! There are plenty of attractions in the Museum to enjoy, including giant banknote jigsaws and the opportunity to test your safe cracking skills, with a small prize if you can break the code. Activity sheets are also available for children of all ages at our information desk.
