Celebrate Easter Sunday (1st April) at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for a day packed full of fun! Take part in our Easter Egg Hunt between 11.00am and 3.00pm and even visit our chocolate & candy factories – perfect Easter Sunday fun! Then visit us between April 2nd and 6th for plenty of other Easter-themed activities, including; a chocolate workshop, live animal presentations, bouncy castles, face painting, arts & crafts and more.

    Doors open 10.00am

     

    Admissions: Normal admission applies. Under-16s have free entrance.

     

    Celebrate Easter Sunday at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for a day packed full of fun!

     

    Take part in our Easter Egg Hunt, between 11.00am and 3.00pm, with a small prize at the end – perfect Easter Sunday fun.

    Easter Egg Hunt (small charge applies)

     

    Start off with an Egg hunt around our grounds -find the Eggs hidden in the gardens and win a prize! Everyone who completes their form will win a yummy treat!

     

    The Chocolate Factory  (small charge applies)

     

    Fancy making your own scrummy treats this Easter? Then visit our Chocolate factory, where the kids can get creative with all sorts of sweets! Choose your own flavours in a build-your-own candyfloss or make your own Chocolate Kebab with our tasty collection of marshmallows, fruit, cake, brownie and (of course) chocolate!

    Our candy factory stall, where you can buy a delicious candy treat – a perfect alternative to chocolate this Easter day!

     

    Face painting (small charge applies)

     

    We will have fabulous face painting throughout the day – celebrate Spring in style!

    Find the Bouncy castle by the bandstand this Easter!

     

    Easter Bunny and Easter Chick

     

    Will make appearances throughout the day

     

    Arts and Crafts

     

    A drop in arts and crafts session will be taking place throughout the day. No charge applies, but donations are welcome.

    A drop in arts and crafts session will be taking place throughout the day. No charge applies, but  donations are welcome. Make your bonnet ready for our Easter Bonnet Parade at 2.45pm

    Tuesday 3rd

     

    Meet our animals!

     

    We will be giving presentations throughout the day from 10.30am until 3.00pm. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about some of the animals we keep in our Education department, chosen from; Corn Snake, Giant Land Snail, Panther Chameleon, Gargoyle Gecko, Bearded Dragon, Giant Chocolate Millipede, Poisonous Dart Frog and Stick Insect! Spaces are limited, with 40 per session. Tickets can be collected at reception. There is no extra charge, but we will hand them out on a first come first served basis.

    We will have fabulous face painting throughout the day – celebrate Spring in style!

     

    A self-guided spring trail available to buy from reception.

     

     

     

    Wednesday 4th

     

    Chocolate Workshop

     

    Join us to learn all about the food of the Gods, Theobroma cacao, or chocolate to you and me. Venture into our tropical rainforest to spot the cocoa or ‘cacao’ tree, look for the tiny flowers and cocoa pod seeds then join our free, fun workshop session to learn about your favourite treat. At the end of the session little chocolate tasters will be available. Also, enter our competition draw for a chance to win a prize…
