Get to know your camera and build your confidence to move away from 'auto' settings, while taking pictures of our inspiring collection of cars at the British Motor Museum.
You will explore some simple photographic rules and be guided on composition to create a new perspective on your photography. By learning to effectively utilise the different settings on your camera and by following these simple tips on composition you will have all the skills to create stunning car photographs.
Throughout the day motoring photographer, Lara Platman, will guide you through a series of photographic challenges to help you advance these skills by looking at specific car elements such as reflections, interiors and bodywork. Make sure you wear comfortable clothing as Lara will make you find angles of the cars you never knew they had!
Once you have gained these skills and knowledge with Lara you will be able to continue to develop your photographical skills on your own.
