Automotive Sketching in Perspective at the British Motor Museum Saturday 3rd March

This course explores the basics of 'perspective' using cars as the subject and allows you to develop your skills through a series of creative practical exercises.

    Perfect for beginners, this workshop offers the chance to develop an understanding of the fundamental principles of drawing by creating an automotive themed sketch.
    Techniques covered on the day include one and two point perspective; vanishing points and the horizon line. Participants will also be offered practical advice on how to use shading to create depth and atmosphere in their drawings.

    The workshop will be led by Richard Cook, a recently retired art teacher and accomplished pencil sketcher with many years’ experience.

    Pricing Information

    £55 per person and includes course, morning coffee, and entry to the Museum and Collections Centre. Booking essential. Please note: lunch is not provided but there is a café, or you are welcome to bring your own packed lunch.
