Pensthorpe Nature Reserve

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, famous for hosting BBC Springwatch, is a natural haven for wildlife as well as a place where rare wildfowl breed. Pensthorpe tries to encourage its visitors to take an interest in conservation and the environment by providing a fun and interactive experience.

Children can complete the Activity booklet,pond dip, become bug detectives and collect stamps on the Wildlife Tracker Trail.

We actively encourage school groups to visit Pensthorpe, and to use the reserve as a giant outdoor classroom! We are pleased to be able to offer school parties a range of additional benefits to enhance their visit.

Hautbois Residential Centre

A lift provides access to 7 rooms on the first floor for those with mobility difficulties, including a fully accessible bedroom with wet room. Hautbois has 13 bedrooms, 8 of which are ensuite.
