At Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm we believe that the best way to learn is through personal experience. Daily educational hands-on activities give all of our visitors the opportunity to get face to face with a fantastic variety of amazing animals – both domestic and exotic!
Set in a hundred acres of stunning Somerset countryside, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm offers everything you need for a successful, fun-packed school trip: nearly 100 different animal species, all the way from cows and sheep to rhinos, giraffes, lions and tigers; huge indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds; interactive keeper talks throughout the day; picnic areas both outside and undercover, plus storage facilities for lunchboxes; free coach parking (plus a £5 café voucher for each coach driver) and comprehensive risk assessments available to make planning your visit as stress-free as possible!
Our Learning Outside the Classroom accredited education programme comprises an extensive range of workshops designed to meet National Curriculum objectives and caters for students in Key Stages 1-4 and beyond.
Each session can be tailored to meet your exact requirements and places the emphasis firmly on hands-on experience, giving students the exciting opportunity to explore the animal Kingdom face to face.
In a new series of exciting workshops for 2012 we are introducing under the microscope sessions where students can take a closer look at the natural world and learn about science from a whole new perspective.
In addition to classroom based workshops we can offer interactive sessions and lectures in the Ark Arena auditorium; with a seating capacity for over 500 people and a contemporary audio-visual system this is an ideal space for large group teaching.
