New Forest Wildlife Park

The New Forest Wildlife Park is home to a fascinating array of mammals and birds. We aim to help visitors understand and respect the planet we share with them.

Our Nature Trail is set amongst the beautiful woodlands of the New Forest National Park.

Watch the North American otter swim underwater, the native shy Eurasian otter sleeping and enjoy the antics of the Asian Short Claw Otter. Along the trail meet 3 species of deer, the endangered Scottish wildcat, foxes, polecats, 10 species of owls. A walk through Wallaby Wood gives you a chance to see, Grishkin our lynx, wild boar, our new wolf enclosure and free ranging wallabies.

We have another lynx called Munchkin and recent additions to the park are enormous European Bison, adders, and water vole ( Ratty in Wind in the Willows)

Tropical Butterfly House open Easter to end September.
